What satellite data Biodivex processes — and what that means for your area of interest

Detection precision and alert latency depend on sensor selection and your AOI's latitude. A tropical site at 10°S has a different revisit profile than a temperate forest at 45°N. This page documents what each sensor contributes, where it covers, and what latency to expect.

Timing

Pass-to-alert latency

From satellite overpass to detection alert delivery. Latency is the interval between observation acquisition and polygon delivery to your dashboard or webhook endpoint. Cloud cover over the AOI on a given pass delays detection to the next cloud-free acquisition — the 6-week rolling baseline absorbs gaps of up to 3 weeks without degrading change detection accuracy.
